Endurance and Mindset Training | What do they Actually do for Athletes?

Athletes train hard to achieve their sports career goals. Some focus on a certain area they're weak at to improve themselves and some focuses on their strong spot to become better than what they already are. It really depends on their training style but everyone has the same goal, to win and ace the game. However, most of the athletes neglect these two things, two of the most important aspect an athlete must possess for an optimum performance. They tend to forget to include these two in their training regimen, the Endurance and Mindset Training.

What can Endurance Training Contribute on Sports Performance?

Endurance training is a training that focuses on endurance. It generally refers to training the aerobic system as opposed to anaerobic. A well conditioned athlete can be defined as, an athlete who executes his or her technique consistently and effectively with the least effort. Athletes can also undergo endurance training even though their sport may not necessarily be an endurance sport. Strong, healthy muscles will help you go the distance, no matter what sport you are in.

However, Physical Endurance and Strength training aren't enough to succeed. Mental Toughness, also known as Mindset Training is what really brings athletes to end a race. It's the ability for an athlete to control their mental and emotional elements, it is a view on how you perceive reality.

How Can We Train Our Brain?

Your Perception of Your Sports is the Reality of your Sports

Since your parents or one of your relatives has cancer, then you have a high probability that you have a cancer too. One day you'll find yourself lying down suffering cancer because of the genes you acquire from them. Do you want that to happen? Do you want to accept that your future is already set because of your genes and GENES control your life?

According to one of Dr. Bruce Lipton's book entitled The Biology of Belief, he stated that we are not controlled by our genes. That there is something inside us that is capable of controlling our emotions, thus our reality. And that is PERCEPTION.

Below is my article explaining Dr. Bruce Lipton's study about Perception and Reality called Epigenetics. Read and understand on how can someone alter his subconscious mind in order to change his reality.

Our Perception affects our reality. Our Perception affects our Sports Performance. If we think we can win the game, we can! The same with the diseases like Cancer, if we think and believe that we will be healed (through some medication and chemo of course) then we really will! Its just a matter of perception and controlling our subconscious mind.
